Hallee turns 2

I can't believe my baby girl is already 2. I would like time to slow down...a little bit. We were at the Roberts house for her birthday this year. We went to the bounce house and had my family over for dinner. It was a great day--very low key. I feel bad that her birthday is right after Christmas, its hard to be prepared for her birthday since its the day after. We threw a friend party her in Maryland once we got back. I will post pictures in a later post.

Grandma took us to the bounce house. Hallee loved it!

Later that night we had my family over for burritos and cupcakes

Hallee was a little overwhelmed with opening presents three days in a row but she eventually got them all opened and was spoiled as usual.

Jared made a video of the past year. She loved watching it. I love that we have that to watch regularly.

As much as it's hard having her birthday the day after Christmas, I'm glad we can be around family!
We love our Hallee Boo more than words can say.
She has such fun personality and is full of SOOO much energy!
This girl never stops. We just had her 2 year appointment-- due to her always being sick!
She is 93% for height, 88% for weight.
She loves to dance and jump. I'm sure our downstairs neighbors love it. She loves Mckenna most of the time. She still has her days. Every night she goes to bed she gives us all kisses and when she kisses Mckenna she always says love you to the moon and back. It melts my heart! She is learning her letters, can count to 10, and knows her colors. She is at a fun age where she is constantly learning something new.
Her new thing lately is to ask "why" after everything.
We love her to pieces!!

Christmas Day

Hallee wasn't sure what was going on when she woke up. Santa had brought her a train set and a few other things. We had to force her to play with it at first. Luke was more interested in it than Hallee. She didn't know it was hers. They both took turns opening presents. It was a fun morning and we were spoiled! Steve then made a huge breakfast before we headed to church. It was a nice relaxing day!

An attempt to get a picture with them in their Christmas outfits that Grandma got them.

As you can tell Mckenna didn't like getting her pictures taken.

Later that day we got to skype with Matthew. It was so fun to see him. Hallee sure loves her uncle Matt"chew"

Christmas Eve-Temple Square

I better hurry and blog about Christmas before February.
We spent Christmas Eve day with my family. We opened presents and played the  xbox kinect.
Hallee loved all of the attention and opening presents.

My family joined us for the Roberts Family tradition of Olive Garden and Temple Square. I love going to Temple Square. The lights are so pretty with the temple! We bundled up the girls and had a fabulous time!

We then spent the rest of the night with the Roberts, having hot chocolate and watching White Christmas. Hallee opened up new pj's and was off to bed. She knew who Santa was but she didn't grasp the concept that he would bring her toys. I was more excited about Santa coming then Hallee was :)  Having kids at Christmas time is the best!!

Mckenna's blessing day

We blessed Mckenna on Sunday December 18th at my parents house. We are so grateful for the family and friends that came. Jared gave the blessing and then we had dinner. It was fun to catch up with everyone. Mckenna was such an angel all day. She was such a good girl! I just love that little girl!

Christmas Break in Utah

On December 16th we flew out to Utah for Christmas. The girls did  awesome on the plane ride. We got to be with my family for the first week. They were so excited to have us there, especially to meet miss Mckenna. Hallee was SO excited to see everyone. I'm surprised that she wasn't shy. She loved all the attention!

Hallee got to open an early Christmas present so she could play with it while we were there. She absolutely loved it! I wish we could bring it home with us.

My grama spoils my girls! She came down to spend the weekend with us and to exchange Christmas.
The cute pj's she gave the girls for christmas

Jared thought it would be funny to push Mckenna around in her shopping cart.  I wasn't there or it probably wouldn't of happened.

We did several fun activities one of which was bowling. Hallee loved to push the ball down the lane.

Hallee loves her aunties!!

We had so much fun with my family. It was so nice to have help with the girls so I could have a little break. My girls have the best aunties who adore them!
