Fall Festival

Last weekend we went to fall festival up at Butler's Orchard in Germantown. It was so fun. They had all sorts of activities for the kids. Hallee only got to do a couple since she is still a baby. It was such a pretty day and we had lovely friends to spend it with us!
She didn't really care for the chickens..
Trying to smile in the sun :)
Eating the hay
Going on a hayride to pick a pumpkin from the patch
She found one that she liked!
She was very brave and went on the slide with daddy!
Hallee and Grayson riding in the wagon.
It was such a fun day. There are just so many fun things for us to do here..now if we could just get our husbands to not study so much we could get a lot more sight seeing done :) We are sure loving it out here!

Annapolis

A couple of Saturdays ago we ventured out to Annapolis. It was such a pretty day and such a cute little town! We went with 2 other med school couples which is always fun!

Capitol Building-It was once the US Capitol building.

Hallee was such a good girl! Riding around in her stroller.

Hallee & Jared, Max & Robby
We were able to walk around the Naval Academy which was very pretty!

So we went to Chick & Ruth's for dinner it was kind of late getting close to Hallees bedtime. She was getting really fussy so I took her out of her high chair and as I was going to take a picture next to this 6lb milkshake!! I realized I had poop on my shirt! You can kind of see it! It was super gross.. I mainly felt bad for everyone next to us eating! Poor thing had poop all over her! Everyone thought it was hilarious! Good thing I was wearing a shirt underneath so I was able to take it off. We are loving Maryland! There is always fun things to do and pretty much all for free!

Duck Park

I'm behind on blogging so I will be playing catch-up these next couple of days. Conference weekend we ventured out to the duck pond. Well we get there with our bread and there is a huge sign saying you can't feed the ducks. So being the good people we are, we decided not to.

Hallee loves to walk around while holding your fingers. She is getting so big too fast! It makes me sad how fast they really do grow up! The weather here in Maryland has been so pretty! The millions of trees that surround us are all changing colors it is so pretty!

Can't get Enough!!

I seriously can't get enough of this little girl. She is so cute and keeps me laughing all day! She has started waving and clapping recently and it is the cutest thing ever! I'm trying to teach her sign language and finally tonight she signed more(for more ice cream) but I was so happy! When she doesn't like something she will spit. If you tell her no she will also spit at you. Its so hard not to laugh but its just so funny! She has definitely got us wrapped around her finger!

I just love those big blue eyes!

We just love this little girl so much! I can't imagine our lives without her!

G&P Visit

My grandparents who are from California took a road trip across the country. We had the privilege of them stopping by our place. They arrived on a Saturday night and had dinner. We woke up Sunday and went to church. After church we drove past their old house that they lived in while my grandpa was stationed at Andrews Air Force Base. It's crazy with how many different places they have lived they still knew exactly where it was.
Well that night by grandpa had a really bad pain in the back of his leg, so bad he could barely walk. I just felt like we needed to go to the hospital just to get things checked out. I thought it was a blood clot. So we get to the hospital around 8:30. (It's a good thing the hospital is by Jared's school so I knew right where to go..) Finally at 2am they determined that he had 2 blood clots one superficial and one very deep. Not Good. So by 3 am they decided they want to keep him overnight. So it was a long night. So when 7am came around and Hallee was ready to play and I was beyond exhausted! Anyway Tuesday they finally released them. It was a bummer that they spent most of the time here in the hospital but also a blessing that they were here with us. My grama had a place to stay and he was getting the best care at the Naval Medical Hospital.
Hallee warmed right up to them..It took her a couple of hours but then she was fine.
Hanging out at the hospital..Jared's already making her do push-ups :)
They just adore Hallee! They think she is the cutest baby. I have to agree with them!!
They were suppose to leave our place and continue on down the coast into Florida, but they felt it was best to go back home. It took them about a week to get back home. I'm so glad they were able to come and see where we live and what our lives are like. It was so fun to have them here!
*We love visitors and there is SO much to do around here!!
