Utah Trip

We just got back from our trip to Utah. It was very busy but a lot of fun. I flew out a week before Jared so that he could study by himself for finals. The first week I stayed at my parents house. Hallee loved all the attention. Someone was always holding her or playing with her! She loved it!!
my grama came down to give Hallee her Christmas present and birthday present..she made her a beautiful christmas quilt which she now sleeps with.
Pa & Hallee
Once Jared got there we stayed at the Roberts house for a week. We got to meet Luke our new nephew. He is such a handsome boy who always sleeps!!
Trying to get these 2 to smile was hard!
In front of Roberts Christmas tree
she was always trying to open the presents and take the bows off

These 3 girls are only months apart. On the Forbes side there are a lot of little kids. It's fun when we all get together. We had a lot of fun at the Roberts. It was very relaxing. We hung out, did lots of shopping, and played games. My camera died after I took this picture. So I don't have anymore pictures of time at the Roberts!
Hallee started walking at the Roberts. I'm glad we were in Utah when she decided to show her moves!
There are a lot more post to come:

Hallee's 1st birthday
Time with my family!

Thanksgiving at the Beach

We had a lovely Thanksgiving at the beach. We spent it with my Aunt and her family and my uncles brother and his family. We had a delicious dinner! The house was SO nice! It even had a elevator. We had our own room and own bathroom. It was such a nice relaxing weekend! Lots of food, game playing, playing in the ocean, hot tubing and more. The weather was perfect! Jared loved playing in the ocean. Everybody loved Hallee she was such a good girl even though she had a high fever pretty much the whole time we were there.

The beautiful house

It was kind of windy so she had her hat on to protect her ears.

Nate and Jared trying to get the kite up
Daniel and Nate buried Jared in the sand. Jared always has to do this at the beach. He is definitely a kid at heart!
We had a wonderful time. It was a much needed get-away! Thank you to my wonderful aunt for letting us come with you guys! I can't believe how close it is till Hallee and I fly home!
We are getting excited!!

Georgetown

Saturday was a beautiful day so we decided to venture down to Georgetown..and so did everybody else. It took us almost 2 hours to get there when normally it's a 20 minute drive..(that is DC traffic for ya). But it was very pretty! We walked down to the Harbor and took some pictures. Fall back east is SO pretty! I love it!

Hallee & Max

This was the line for Georgetown Cupcakes it was a block full of people waiting in line. I have yet to try them but are they really that good to wait in line for hours..??
It was a fun night..a little stressful with how much traffic there was. If you looking for great shopping thats the place to go except for parking is very expensive!!

Natural History Museum

Last week the boys had a huge test that they had spent SO much time studying for. So after they were done they decided they were done with school for the day so we headed downtown to the Natural History Museum. It was a Friday afternoon so there was quite a few people there but it was still fun!

Family pic by the Washington Monument
Hallee loved all the different animals

She was such a good sport riding in her stroller everywhere! I think she looks so cute all bundled up! It gets cold when the sun goes down at 5:00pm.

Richmond Virginia

A couple of weeks ago I went to Richmond to meet my aunt and grandparents for lunch. We each drove about halfway, they drove a little bit farther but it wasn't bad at all! It was so fun to see them and have them see how much Hallee has changed. She was being so funny around them. Pulling all these funny faces. She has got quite the personality.

Gram & Hallee

I'm so glad we got to see them. Thank you to my lovely Aunt from driving them so far just for a couple of hours.

p.s. I gave a talk in church today...I was SO nervous but anyway as I was talking I looked down and Hallee has this huge grin on her face and was clapping. It was so hard not to smile. She totally made me feel better as she was cheering me on!! I love my Hallee so much!

Pumpkin Princess

For Halloween Hallee was a pumpkin princess. I think she is adorable but she is my daughter.. The Thursday before Halloween the SSC put on a Halloween party. It was a lot of fun and Jared got to come eat lunch with us.

Don't mind her messy room! She makes quite the messes lately :)
The boys with the kids

Cute Max as Harry Potter
This picture cracks me up! There was a huge gust of wind right when I took the picture.
We got to go trick or treating around to the different offices. Everyone thought she was SO cute!!
On Saturday our ward had a trunk or treat. Hallee didn't go trick or treating but we handed out candy to a bunch of kids. On Sunday we had other MS-1 families over for fajitas and games! It was a very fun weekend!!

Pumpkin Carving Party

A Couple weekends ago we went over to our friends house to carve pumpkins! It was a lot of fun. Definitely a different experience when we were the only LDS people there. The boys sat outside by the fire and drank and the girl sat inside and carved pumpkins. Jared was the only guy in carving a pumpkin cause I'm not very good at it.
Her new face! It cracks me up.

Family picture

Jared's masterpiece! He has become quite the perfectionist since he started cutting up his cadaver. Which he loves by the way! It was a fun night getting to know new people!
