Hallees Special Day

Sunday was Hallees special day. She was blessed by her dad. He did a great job, short but sweet! We had lots of family and friends there to support us. We had a lunch afterward at my parents house. It was such a great day. Hallee was perfect and she looked adorable.
Thanks to my aunt Tracy who bought her the dress. It is beautiful.

Uncle Matthew crocheted Hallee a white afghan that she was blessed in. He did such a good job! It's a very pretty blanket.

Part of the crew that came to support Hallee. My grandparents from California made the long trek to meet this little girl and they adore her. It was so good to see everyone. Thank you to everyone for coming and supporting us. It was so fun to have my sister here. We were crazy busy the whole time she was here but we had a blast! It sucks being so far away from you best friend!

2 months and lots of pictures

I can't believe Hallee is already two months. We went to the doctor yesterday and she now weighs: 11lbs 10 ounces (66%)

height: 23 inches (71%)
she finally gained weight!!
I'm still having to supplement after most feedings, at least she is getting some of the good stuff.
She also got 3 shots boy was that hard for the both of us! It's so sad to watch them prick a cute little innocent baby!
At four weeks she started smiling here and there but now she smiles and coos all the time. It melts my heart! I love it!! She is such a doll. I love being able to stay home with her it's so much fun!
Auntie Tara came to town for her blessing this weekend. We have been taking lots of pictures and hanging out. Man I wish she didn't live so far away!

Bath Time

Hallee has a love-hate relationship with bath time. She loves being in the water but the second you take her out she is one ticked baby.

I can't believe how much she has changed in just 6 weeks.

What's in a Name??

When Jared and I were in talks of what to name our little girl, we had lots of ideas. We desired a name that was unique but not crazy, sweet but not too sugary. So when we saw our little girl and got to know her, we knew she was our Hallee girl. Little did we know that with naming our little one came much confusion and knashing of teeth. I'm sincerely posing a question here: what in the spelling of h-a-l-l-e-e sounds hailey?
Should I take an e off so it looks like Halle Berry?
Please help me with this confusion..

I can't believe Hallee is already a month old. I love being a mom it's the best thing!! She is being a little stinker and not gaining weight. She just barely passed her birth weight.

Her stats are as of yesterday

weight: 8lbs 9oz

height: 21 1/2 inches

We went to Sacrament on Sunday and I had to dress her up even though she slept in her carseat the whole time. She had to look cute on her first time to church!
She is still a very good baby! She sleeps at least 6 or 7 hours straight at night and takes a three hour nap in the afternoon hopefully she continues with this pattern.

In this very enlightened time of history we have found many ways to supplement the foods that we eat, so that we can eat whatever we want and still get all the vitamins that we need. I mean, you can take one pill in the morning and you can eat all the junk you want the rest of the day. Recently in Biochemistry my professor informed us that the great supplemental vitamins that we live off of are in fact byproducts of beer and other chemical reactions, essentially waste. Think about that next time you eat Total, not only are you eating cardboard but also four times as much waste as any other cereal. Finally, my point is that even though we think we are so smart we couldn't fool an infant, waste tastes like waste....

I can't believe Hallee will be 3 weeks on Saturday. We are so in love with this little girl. I just can't seem to hold her enough. So far she has been a very good baby! Her hanging out in the boppy today, she is in her outfit that auntie Tara made her.

She had her first real photoshoot, lets just say she wasn't a happy baby. Heidi did a great job with what little time she was happy.

Grammie is obsessed with Hallee. Now that i'm not working I hang out with my mom all day! I love it!
